A DREAM COME TRUE

A popular ice-breaker conversation piece is: "If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?" If you asked me this question, you would not have been able to finish your sentence. I would have cut you off mid-sentence and my response, without any hesitation, would have been, "ROME!
Well, guess what?!?
Dreams really do come true!!

We are going for 13 days in September for our one year anniversary! Our actually one year anniversary is on June 9th, but we didn't want to deal with the crowds and humidity of Europe in the summer :)

I CAN'T WAIT to...
Stand here
&
Here!
Sit here
Make a wish in the Trevi Fountain
Hopefully get this close to Pope Francis (PS I love him!...and I'm a hugger)
Listen to him give one of these/and Mass!
Enjoy a glass of wine here

AND to top it all off, the icing on the cake, the big cherry on top
the husband (the romantic that he is) has decided we should end our trip here...
Yup, that is right, PARIS!

(Ladies, this is one of the many reasons you should never settle. Your Prince Charming will come, and he will honor and cherish you... and make your dreams come true!)

I am beaming from ear to ear!
The countdown begins!

  3. AWESOME!!! My answer has always also hands down been "Rome!" My husband and I were going to plan a Europe trip for our one year anniversary, too (this September), but now we have a baby due in August so that isn't quite happening, haha. But I can hardly complain about not going to Europe when I get to become a mom. Someday I'll make it there!!!

    Enjoy your wonderful trip!!
