WHAT I WORE SUNDAY

| Dress: H&M | Necklace: H&M | Shoes: Target | Purse: Kate Spade |

This is an extra special "What I Wore Sunday" because the lovely ladies of Fine Linen and Purple blog allowed me to host this week. Make sure to check out their blog, and see some other ladies' stylish looks for your Sunday wardrobe inspiration

Over the weekend my husband and I were busy taking on "Project Nursery" for our little bundle of joy. I am definitely in nesting mode as I clean and organize everything in sight. Attending Mass on Sunday was a good break away from the project, and allowed us to really focus our hearts on our Lenten preparation, which starts this Wednesday! I am so thankful for Lent; it makes me reflect on my faith walk and see where I have become complacent and what needs improvement. Lent is humbling, but it is just what my soul needs.

What are you guys giving up/doing extra for Lent?

WHAT I WORE SUNDAY

| Dress: H&M (old) | Necklace: Forever 21 | Clutch: H& M |

And.... We are back! I know I have been MIA for over a month now, but I am up and running again. September was a crazy month that included a whirl wind of things. One of them being a trip to Europe, that I can not wait to share with all of you. Stay tuned! :)

I hope all has been well for each of you, and here is a little of What I Wore Sunday. During one of our plane rides to Europe, I watched the movie, "The Great Gatsby," which inspired my outfit today. The fashion during that era was so fun.

Have a fabulous Monday! Thanks for reading! XO

WHAT I WORE SUNDAY

| Top: Target | Skirt: Forever 21 (old) | Shoes: Target |

Good morning everyone! This past Sunday we went to Mass in the morning, had breakfast with our friend, Kate, and then headed to a friend's wedding in the afternoon. The wedding took place right on the bay in San Diego, with a beautiful view of Downtown. We had a blast! The skirt that I wore is one of my favorites. I love the bow detail!

Happy Tuesday! Thanks for reading! XO

WHAT I WORE SUNDAY

| Dress: Target | Sweater: Target | Shoes: Target |

Good morning & happy Monday! Sorry I was MIA last week, but it was just one of those jam packed/where does the time go, types of weeks. Actually now that I think about it, the whole month of July pretty much feels that way. It is definitely a crazy summer, but it is filled with a lot of awesome events. For instance, on Sunday I went to my best friends' daughter's 1st birthday party. The theme of her party was the "The Flower Shoppe," and it was A.Dor.Able! I mean pink tulle, fresh flowers, ombre pink cupcakes, etc. A little slice of Pink Heaven if you ask me ;)

Have a great day! Thanks for reading! XO

WHAT I WORE SUNDAY

Dress & Necklace: J.Crew Factory Store

God bless America, land that I love... Happy Monday! July is officially here! In honor of the 4th of July this week, I thought it was only fitting to rock some red and blue on Sunday. Check out Fresh Linen and Purple to see some other ladies' Sunday looks.

Isn't the house behind me a dream? I wish I could say it was mine, but it is MY dream home :) It is so ironic to me that my southern husband has such modern taste, and myself, a California girl, has such southern taste. I love the Southern plantation look with front porches and rocking chairs, it just makes my heart happy. When I saw this house, I just had to take a picture in front of it! It is located in one of the cutest parts of San Diego, Coronado island. The husband and I spent the afternoon there after Mass, and it was just one of those days where everything seemed perfect. Definitely feeling blessed!

WHAT I WORE {DATE NIGHT EDITION}

Good morning and Happy Monday! I did not get a chance to snap some pictures of what I wore yesterday, so I decided to post some outfit pics I took a few weeks ago on a date night with my hubby. We went to dinner in Downtown San Diego. On our way to the restaurant we saw this awesome wall and had to take some pictures.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there! My sister and her cute family have a beach house in Manhattan Beach this month, so we celebrated Father Days with my family over there. Their beach house is about 3 blocks from the water. It was beautiful!

Also, today check out my guest post on "Messy Wife, Blessed Life." Mandi is an awesome and inspiring Catholic wife and mother. I love her vulnerability and realness in her posts. Reading her posts is like having coffee with a good friend :)

WHAT I WORE SUNDAY

| Top: Forever 21 | Jeans: Old Navy | Necklace: Ann Taylor Factory Store |
| Shoes: Target | Clutch: H&M |

Good morning and Happy Monday! This past weekend, the hubby and I had a fabulous time at home...Finally! We have been out of town the past 3 weekends. On Friday night, I surprised the hubby by showing up at the worship night he was playing at up in Orange County. The band he drums for, Love, Resonate, released their first live ablum on Friday. It is called, "Sparks." You should definitely check it out!

On Saturday and Sunday, we got things done around the house, went to the Farmers Market, ran errands, had impromptu dance parties, finally watched the last espisode of "The Office" :( (I definitely cried), and of course, went to Mass. This is what I wore :) I love statement necklaces! They add the perfect fun and feminine detail to any outfit.
