Remember this post? Well, in a little over four weeks, that dream will becoming a reality. Eek! So excited! I am going to be in Paris and Rome! (insert happy dance). I am trying to figure out what essentials to pack. Everyone keeps telling me to pack light, which sounds great and totally makes sense. There is only one problem: I am one of the world's biggest over packers. When I go somewhere for a weekend, I bring enough to stay for 3 weeks! This is where all you fellow European travelers come in :) What do I NEED to bring? What should I leave at home? I would love to hear your advice!

Can you believe next week is July? Where has this year gone? July could only mean one thing: SUMMER! It is time to get out your red, white, and blue, and celebrate the land of the free and home of the brave. I can't wait for the parades, BBQ, fireworks, and to sing along proudly to, "God bless America." Here are some of my favorite 4th of July fashions. What are your plans for the 4th?

The nights are getting longer, flip flops are becoming the shoe of choice, the smell of sun tan lotion is in the air, and BBQ is on the menu almost every night. All of this could only mean one thing: SUMMER is almost here! Beach days and pool lounging is on the horizon. The norm for women is usually to wear a bikini, but to me, we reveal more when we cover up. I want people to see all of me, not just body parts on display. Modesty is key. Everything that we wear should glorify God, including our bathing suit. Above our some of my favorite modest bathing suits looks for summer. Aaannnd we are back! Sorry for being MIA for the last two days, but we didn't get our Internet hooked-up till yesterday evening. 

Good news, we officially have all of our stuff at the new place (sigh of relief). About half of it is unpacked, and the other half is still in boxes. Each day we get a little closer to being settled. I can't wait for the day when we unpack the last box and officially close the door on this chapter.

Before I got married, my preferred style was Shabby Chic. I wish you could of seen my bedroom, it was a pink Shabby Chic Palace. My husband, on the other hand, has very Modern taste. Do you think his taste is rubbing off on me?? I never thought I would see the day when these pieces would be on my favorites list... See husband, all things are possible :)

As I was finding my five favorite things at the moment, I realized there was a theme of black & white. I know it is Spring, and I should be rocking the pastels and neons, but I am loving the black & white for now ;)
